Have you ever wanted to see someone’s Facebook newsfeed without having to be their “friend”? Have you ever wanted to share yours with non-friends? Well now you can. Facebook recently announced the release of a new Subscribe button for profiles. 

You will only see the Subscribe button for those people who have enabled the feature. To enable it on your own profile, log into Facebook then go herehttp://www.facebook.com/about/subscribe and click “Allow Subscribers”.

When you see the button on someone’s profile and you click it to subscribe, you can choose exactly what you see in your feed. Hubspot explains: Facebook users can already view updates from their friends in their News Feed, but using the new button, users can now choose how much will get displayed. They will now have the option of seeing all of that particular friend’s updates, most (the amount that they currently see) of their updates, or only important updates (e.g. just highlights like a new job change or a move). Furthermore, users can also choose how much of what type of content will get displayed, such as photos, games, or nothing at all.
